Beautiful island port. Ferry takes about 45 mins from Oban. A great day trip. Leave the car in Oban.
The Jacobite Express train leaves daily through the summer from Fort William to Mallaig - a really memorable trip. Alternatively you can drive to Glenfinnan and take in the stunning spot where Prince Charles Eduard Stuart raised his flag in 1745

Isle of Skye
Follow the road to the isles (past Glenfinnan and Arisaig), catch ferry to the Island fo Skye from Mallaig. A day long road trip not to be missed.

Walk from the frontdoor of Minard Cottage, Takes about 1.45mins to the top. Stunning views in all directions.

Can be seen going to/from the Isle of Skye, at the head of Loch Duich is perhaps Scotland's most photographed castle.
